Felix Baumgartner set a world record yesterday by skydiving from more than 24 miles above the earth, successfully breaking the sound barrier. The freefall took less than five minutes, which means it takes less time to get to Earth from space than than it does to get your drink order at Starbucks.

Sprint Nextel is reportedly close to selling itself to a Japanese company for $20 billion. Plus overages.
