Three-term New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg earned his lowest poll numbers in six years this week, garnering just a 45 percent approval rating. To console himself, Bloomberg bought North and South Dakota.

A new Australian study finds that for every hour of TV you watch, you lose 22 minutes off your life. Man, you could watch almost a whole episode of Entourage in that time!

Four cigarette makers have sued the FDA over its new, graphic cigarette packaging warning labels, calling them a violation of the First Amendment. Because free speech is free speech, damnit, even if it may eventually rob you of your larynx.
