Tiger Woods announced yesterday he will skip this month's British Open. As for his reason for withdrawing, Woods cited a lingering leg injury and, as he put it, "British chicks."

The World Trade Organization ruled this week that China had violated global rules when it restricted exports of raw materials. In response, China has bought the World Trade Organization.

Fearing backlash from anti-American sentiment, Paramount Pictures has authorized Russia, Ukraine and South Korea to drop the words "Captain America" from the title of its forthcoming "Captain America: The First Avenger." So yeah, expect a lot of pissed off Russian, Ukrainian and South Korean people later this month after they find out a movie called "The First Avenger" is all about some guy in red, white and blue named Captain America.
