According to a new investigation by 60 Minutes, Lance Armstrong used performance-enhancing drugs while cycling for the U.S. Postal Service team. I know, I know—it's pretty hard to believe, but just 10 years ago, the U.S. Postal Service could afford to sponsor something.

Scientists at the University of Illinois-Chicago have developed a "bar code scanner" for zebras that can scan photographs of the animal and identify them by their stripe patterns. Which raises the important question: who has been buying so many zebras that we needed do develop an animal-specific bar code scanner?

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Friday that it was not a cruel and unusual punishment when a lower court sentence a 14-year-old boy to life in prison without parole. And with that I would like to congratulate Wisconsin on officially claiming the title of Craziest State from its previous holder, South Carolina.
